I am not a picky eater by any means but I have never really cared for Chicken Salad or Pimento cheese. Well, let me tell you Bart's changed that for me. It is the ONLY chicken salad I have found that I can enjoy and the Pimento cheeses they carry are amazing!! I only wish I discovered them sooner! My husband has never cared for chicken salad either but he too will eat Bart's and now the 12 year old is addicted! Husband has always been a Pimento cheese lover and claims it's the best he's ever had. So don't sleep on this place. The owners and staff of super sweet as well. They even took the time to engage with my 12 year old. In a rushed and grouchy world its so refreshing to feel appreciated as a customer.

We’ve had the chicken divan, the beef stroganoff, and the smoked Gouda pimento cheese. All 3 items were DELICIOUS. While it seemed awfully expensive for $30 for a casserole, it fed my family of three and then some. You can’t get that price per person at a fast food restaurant. Super sweet image,super yummy food. Will be back!

Oh, this place annoys me. I think I can cook and believe my food is amazing. I am wrong. Oatmeal cream pie, smoked gouda pimento cheese, sausage corn chowder, gluten free banana pudding, etc.—amazing. She is a magician. Love the food here.

Bart’s Kitchen and Bakery is the gem of downtown Murfreesboro! The staff and owners are lovely individuals always welcoming you with a smile. Not to mention they not only have the best cookies in the County, but their chicken salad croissant and broccoli salad are AMAZING! They have great sweets and food! I highly recommend if you are visiting Murfreesboro or live in the area to check out Bart’s! You won’t regret it! (plus look at how cute the inside is?!) Overall, love this bakery and will be coming back again. The cookies and brownies were an absolute hit amongst my small group!

I jutheist recently moved to Murfreesboro and in the midst of the chaos desperately wanted "real food" but didn't want to bake. I had been told wonderful things and Bart's Kitchen did not disappoint. I was thrilled to grab a couple of sandwiches for the day, and 2 of the side salads (Broccoli and Chicken Salad looked good so I also grabbed them), and then their Chicken Divan casserole for dinner, and was suckered into their cookies as well. All of the food was so yummy, I loved the balance of flavors and the textures were great. I had doubt on a frozen casserole I reheat, but when we popped it out it truly tasted just fresh made, my husband loved it and we were so grateful. Barts will be a regular for us for sure!.
